Job Purpose:

The main duty of the jobholder is to provide:

  • Plan and deliver tasks and oversee processes within the agreed timelines of the Fintech Labs.
  • Ensure that Scheme, Central Bank, and regulatory mandates are followed.
  • Train staff and clients on all service portals and products.
  • Conduct comprehensive process review before Product launch.
  • Assist the Operations manager to develop and enforce sound operational policies and procedures.

Job Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Maintain appropriate communication with MAFF's sub business entities namely Products and Audit to ensure all processes are in compliance with Operating Policies.
  • Check and monitor CRM cases created by Card Operation users to ensure all supporting documents and Financial details are correct.
  • Monitor own quality of delivery levels and raise any concerns with the Manager.
  • Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.
  • Highlight and update Manager on any daily Operational issues.
  • Provide value to effective processes for the monitoring of ongoing operations.
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge and skills to conduct your role to a high level of accomplishment.
  • Share knowledge and best practices on both Issuing and Acceptance verticals.
  • Cross share operational activities and synergies with MPay Operational team
  • Assist the Risk Manager in implementing and monitoring risk management strategies
  • Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of risk metrics and alerts, providing timely reports and insights to support informed decisionmaking by the Risk Manager.
  • Support the development of others through sharing knowledge and skills gained through working for the Organization.
  • Keep up to date with developments in your area of specialism.
  • Discuss and agree personal development needs as part of your performance review. Receive, reflect, and act on feedback on own performance.
  • Attend and conduct relevant training and development. Assist in preparing and updating process notes with Prepaid Operations.

Measure of Success - Illustrative KPIs:

The estimated budget for MAF Fintech Operations 10 million Transaction, +100 digital assets & settlement volume of +1 billion. A scale of 1 to 5 where 1 is the lowest and 5 is the highest, this role would have a financial KPI responsibility of 2

Quantitative metrics:

  • Department Wise TAT on CRM
  • Group wise TAT on CRM
  • Agent Wise TAT on CRM
Above TAT reports will be measured to ensure optimum results.

Qualitative Metrics:

  • Customer/ Client feedbacks.
  • Spark nominations
- % of deviations on compliance with Cards schemes regulations.

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

Technical Skill
Strong knowledge Carp payments and schemes rules and regulation.


Experience in chargebacks rules and regulation imposed by schemes and the underlying liabilities for each payment methods for Card payments.

The executive's ability to work effectively as a group member and to build cooperative effort within the team.
