Job Title: eCommerce Accountant

Location:

Role Summary:


As an eCommerce Accountant at Fresh Start FZE, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our eCommerce operations.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation for our online sales channels. Your expertise in P&L analysis and budgeting will contribute to the overall financial success of our eCommerce business.

Qualification Summary:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the eCommerce industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
  • Proficiency in P&L analysis, budgeting, and reconciliation
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including P&L reports, for our eCommerce operations
  • Monitor and track eCommerce revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Develop and maintain budgets for eCommerce activities
  • Perform regular reconciliations of eCommerce transactions and accounts
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
  • Identify areas for cost optimization and process improvement within the eCommerce operations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections for eCommerce sales

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and payment gateways
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and order fulfillment processes
  • Familiarity with UAE tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA)
  • Experience with international eCommerce operations
  • Knowledge of customs and import/export regulations
