You will join our Installed Professional AV Solutions team based in Dubai, UAE or Saudi Arabia in the position of:

Business Development Manager, Audio Visual InstallAbout the Role:As our new Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving demand and sales for their assigned market within the Middle East Region, to meet with sales targets and KPI's.

Our Professional Solutions in the Middel East are managed through a distribution network.

Business Development drive demand by interfacing with integrators, consultants and end users creating, managing, and delivering a strategy for pipeline generation within their market.


What You Will Do:


Develop and deliver a business development strategy/plan to successfully build new business avenues, drive demand and sales out within your assigned market.

This strategy will be aligned with the wider strategy for EMEA set out by regional leadership.
Build demand for our products to maximize sales across our AV product ranges targeted at your assigned market. This will be facilitated through excellent product expertise, market knowledge, relationship development, customer support and understanding of customer needs.
Tracking, developing, adapting, and reporting on activities to ensure results in line with assigned targets & KPI's.
Partner with regional marketing teams and other EMEA teams to define and drive marketing activities across the region.

Be a trusted, credible representative and ambassador of HARMAN with key external stakeholders and influencers within your assigned market and own these relationships on HARMAN's behalf.


This includes:
Represent the company in key market events and forums.
Create positive PR to grow the company's reputation and brands within your assigned market.
Additional ad hoc project work and activities to support business initiatives and success.

What You Need:
Extensive sales experience in the AV industry and sales based in the Middle East region.
Bachelor's degree or technical/industry certification within an AV discipline, business, or sales.
Familiarity with business and social customs within the region.
Extensive experience working within professional audio-visual market.
Experience and demonstrable success within a business development role.
Capability to influence customers and closing deals in addition to prospecting and new pipeline development.

Can understand customer requirements in professional audio-visual market and effectively present/articulate AV solutions, particularly of interest would be experience with HARMAN products.

Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing), additional languages spoken in the Middle East (Arabic) highly preferred.

Nice to Have:
Experience working in Sales in a distribution model would be beneficial

What Makes You Eligible:
to travel 60% of the currently based or easily available to work in the Middle East based in Saudi Arabia or Dubai travel outside of the Middle East occasionally to Harman offices (particularly to EMEA HQ in UK) or business events (like tradeshows)
