Working in an Operation & Supportenvironment following procedures and guidelines to resolveincidents fulfill service requests and carry out deploymentactivities & preventive maintenance. The role ensures thatall IT service operation activities remain within the agreedservice levels and minimize the adverse impact as well as ensuringincidents are resolved.

Job Outline:

Generic

  • Provide good customerservice to both internal (EGIT) and external customers ensuringthat the service provided is in line with the specificqualitative/quantitative targets and key performance indicators ofthe task.
  • Inform customers of the status andprogress of incidents and service requests. Inform customers ifincidents and/or service requests are about to breach the ServiceLevel Agreements to confirm closure and obtain feedback from ourcustomers.
  • Escalate any highimpactincidents/service requests to the manager to ensure that relevantactions are taken immediately to reduce the business impact on thesmooth running of our departmental or the groups global operations.

Specific IT Stores

  • Coordinate with vendors forwarranty/quote repairs and onsite repair services. Prioritize andmanage hardware/accessory issuance from the store queue based onincidents and service requests
  • Update andMaintain IT asset inventory and service catalog items and ensurethe availability of relevant services across the group.

Specific Technology CommandCentre

  • Resolve incidentsand receive inbound and outbound calls to provide good customerservice for both internal and external customers ensuring that theservice provided meets the specific targets and KPIs
  • Ensure that the maximum number of incidentsare resolved on the first call or when applicable (where handedoverprocesses do not exist) to route incidents to the relevant supportteams to obtain the fastest possible resolution to our customers.

Specific Global FieldSupport

  • Ensure that themoves and relocations across the corporate buildings and airportalign with the business expectations.
  • Ensurethat the devices (laptops and handheld) are upgraded with thelatest OS security and applicationpatches.

Qualifications& Experience: Qualification:

  • InformationTechnology/Other: 3 Years Vocational or Diploma (122 or equivalent)
  • 3 years of overall work experience.

Knowledge/skills:

  • Experience in CustomerSupport and Operational Support role.
  • Musthave proven experience in systems operations and environments of asimilar size and complexity.
  • Working knowledgeof PCs and applications such as MS Office Outlooketc.
