The Business Manager role is part of Risk and Compliance CoS Function, which is responsible for provision of shared services to the rest of Risk and Compliance.

This role will report to the Senior Business Manager - Organizational Development and Engagement, and will have a particular focus on supporting them to effectively run People Engagement and the Learning and Development agenda for the Risk and Compliance functions.


Responsibilities include:

People:

  • Supporting the People Plans for the Risk and Compliance functions analyzing snap shot survey results, running focus groups, thematic analysis, strategic ideation on initiatives to address gaps, building into the people strategy and key activity for the upcoming runway.
  • Understanding the needs of the function in an agile manner, independent thinking, developing the strategy and plans, presenting key analysis.
  • Creative approach to promoting people engagement, utilizing a growth mindset to explore new ways of working to inspire others, promoting wellbeing, D&I.
  • Preparation of key people related wide scale communications.
  • Organizing key people engagement events town halls, networking events, volunteering etc
  • Partnering with HR on various development programs for targeted audiences new joiners, people managers, senior leaders, assisting the creation of tailored content.
  • Helping support various people related agenda graduate schemes, nationalization

Learning and Development:

  • Helping support the Learning and Development agenda for the MENAT Risk and Compliance teams. This includes ensuring all learning needs are analyzed and addressed, colleagues are supported with their upskilling on emerging risks and learning priorities are communicated and executed.
  • Driving the learning priorities and plans for the year as part of the L&D strategy.
  • Managing the learning budget, the professional qualifications process and tracking around this.
  • Supporting the use of the career development platform and ensuring the smooth running of STAs and job swaps across the function and related comms and MI for senior management.
  • Running the upskilling sessions upcoming agenda, managing all the logistics, facing off to the SME presenters.
  • Coming up with new initiatives to embed the learning priorities.
  • Liaising with HR on talent programs and take up.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working preferably in a Comms / HR / People / Learning and Development related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent relationship management skills; ability to liaise with and develop relationship on a wide scale of stakeholders
  • Country, Regional, outside of R&C
  • Selfmotivation, and a proven rapid learning capability in a changing environment
  • Accountable and responsible for work deliverables
  • Ability to distil complex and varied data into information; good process analysis and problem solving skills
  • Highly organized
  • Deliveryfocused with attention to detail; project management and ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high level of quality reflective of the team
