We are looking for a Sous Chef for a client based in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Executive Chef to develop and create seafood menu items
  • Oversee and manage kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Train, mentor, and coach kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and maintain inventory and ordering systems to ensure proper food and supply levels
  • Manage and control food costs through appropriate portion control and monitoring of waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines
  • Assist in developing and implementing kitchen policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Executive Chef

Salary:
Up to AED15,000.00 per month
