General Idea of Job Description:

  • Must have a Valid Passport
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g. printers, scanners, copiers).
  • Accurate and fast typing skills (approx. 55+ wpm).
  • Minute taking
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems/software quickly (admin, cateringspecific software, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles relevant to the catering industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with clients and catering staff. Fluent English required; Arabic or other is a Bonus.
  • Friendly and professional demeanour to greet clients and guests during catering consultations, tastings, setups and events.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage catering schedules, deliveries, and event appointments.
  • Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle incoming calls related to catering inquiries and orders.
  • Strong time management skills to meet catering order deadlines and delivery schedules.
  • Strong communication skills and patience in dealing with clients and guests during catering functions.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude during highpressure catering events.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, especially during busy event seasons.
  • Ability to manage tasks specific to catering operations and event planning.
  • Ability to handle inquiries and direct clients to the appropriate catering team members.
  • Effective communication skills to assist catering team members and clients.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive catering information.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities to address any challenges that arise during catering events.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate information and communication
  • Versatile and able to support various administrative tasks within the catering office as well as assisting with setups of caterings, events and sometimes needing to be hostess at these caterings/events.
