Job Purpose


The
Data Steward, Retail Data & Information Management within Strategy & Customer Intelligence unit will provide extensive hands-on support to the Head/Manager of Data & Information Management team and contribute to the development of retail data products across the bank for the data driven decisions.


This job is also a very key role for Strategy & Customer Intelligence as Data stewards are responsible for ensuring the data accuracy, consistency, and reliability data.

They are essential for maintaining the data integrity that enables the data-driven decision making.

Specifically, the job holder will be responsible for following duties -

  • Responsible for the implementation of
    Data products for
    CRM and
    Channels (Online/Mobile banking, ATM/CDM etc.) across the Entities
  • Responsible for the
    Data Discovery, Extraction, Cleansing, Data Analysis, Data Modelling, Data Lake and
    Data mesh implementation

llaborate with cross functional teams to identify business problems and opportunities that can be solved using data driven approaches for the
service improvement, campaign management ,
cost reduction

Analyses large and Complex dataset to extract
meaningful insight that can help the business to move the traditional customer for adopting the Digital Channels

  • Co
nduct
BI reports rationalization, development of reports and
dashboards leveraging

  • PowerBI and Microsoft BI, responsible for delivering channels specific data needs and to internal stakeholders.
  • Enhancing the existing the
    DataMart and supporting the
    regular business:
  • Evaluate organization methods and provide
    sourcetotarget mapping and information
- model specific documents.

  • Work directly with
    business stakeholders to understand the system and provide
    the inhouse solution .

Main Tasks

  • Co
ntribute for the implementation of Channels DataMart from the various sourcing channels like Online Banking/Mobile banking/ATM/CDM/Branch/IVR

  • Co
ntribute the efforts for migrating the customer to use digital/self-services channels services over traditional channels.

  • Co
ntribute for the implementation of CRM data product for Service management, Complaints, and the Campaign management.

  • Lead the team with the Data lineage, ETL documentation, Performing the data validation
  • Creation of Dashboard for Each Subject area to provide the holistic view of transactions, usage by segments and top financials and request services.
  • Integrate the customer preferences database with Marketing Automation solutions

Description of Knowledge/Skill etc.

  • Bachelor's/ master's degree in information management, Computers, Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited academic institution
  • Good understanding of Data Management technique & tools
  • Around 57 years of postqualification experience in Data & Information Management domain
  • Sound Retail Banking Professional with strong experience in implementing data warehouse or data mesh for financial organizations.
  • Worked on Channels Domain would be Preferred
  • Strong experience in implementing major data initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise in Data Modelling, Data Mining, Data Analysis, Data visualization, Data cleaning.
  • Robust knowledge of data, systems and analytical tools like SAS, SQL is must. Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and data environments
  • Preferred knowledge in HADOOP, SQL platforms
  • Ability to work with large data sets and multiple data sources
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to understand business needs & how data information transformations can best address those needs
  • Self-Starter in taking initiatives and follow through
  • Strong analytical mind with a problem solving approach with good and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Structured thinker, able presenter, selfdriven, result oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on driving new initiatives and establishing impact and credibility.
  • Strong drive to implement solutions in the most efficient manner, working with business partners throughout the company to assist in process development and implementation.
  • Strong thought leadership in challenging the status quo and come up with new initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to Work effectively with multifunctional team and build good working relationship with stakeholder groups
