Job brief:
We are looking for a Medical Secretary to support our prestigious medical centre. Patients, visitors and medical staff will turn to you for information and help with administrative issues.
Our medical secretary should be efficient and well-spoken with experience running a medical office. If you are patient, computer-savvy and can multitask, we'd like to meet you.
Your goal will be to ensure the smooth workflow of our medical facilities, so that our patients receive the best possible care.
Qualifications and Accountability
Education:
College diploma or High School diploma or equivalent.
- Additional training in Medical
- Administration is a plus.
- Minimum Qualifications/Experience:1-2 yrs. In medical or office setting.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance regulations and medical office procedures.
- Experience with EMR.
- Proficient computer skills with the use of MS Office and Excel tasks as needed.
Job
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a liaison between the physician and the patient, using excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Offers friendly, courteous and confidential assistance to all patients.
- Schedules patient office visits and procedures, whilst providing instruction and paperwork as necessary.
- Calls patients for any requirements, etc. as directed by physician.
- Assists physician with tasks as required and maintains doctor's schedules.
- Must be able to multi-task in a busy work environment, with a highly organized and professional approach.
- Communicates in an appropriate and timely manner with departments.
- Performs word processing and Excel tasks as needed.
Salary:
AED1.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
