Responsibilities:

As part of the team, you will play a key role in coordinating export trafficking tasks, handling data entry, and managing document distribution related to customer export shipments via BDP.

  • Order Processing: Receive and process documents, ensure compliance with US Customs requirements, coordinate cargo logistics, arrange pickup and delivery, handle billing, and manage document distribution.
  • Shipment Status Reporting: Monitor daily reports, ensure standards are met, and proactively address any issues.
  • Maintenance: Keep all records up to date, assist with accounting matters, handle requests for information/quotes, and maintain accurate communications.
  • Prepare export declarations and Bills of Lading for Ocean Exports.
  • Coordinate international freight shipments.
  • Negotiate rates and services with external carriers.
  • Familiarity with interpreting Letters of Credit is a plus.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in ocean or air export operations.
  • Preferably, 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • A college degree is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic office environment.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Team player with strong work ethic.
  • Leadership skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
