Apt Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our client team for shipbuilding. This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, managing staff, and ensuring production deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

The Production Manager will also be responsible for implementing safety measures and improving production efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet project timelines and customer requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the production team, including boat builders, technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the production facility.
  • Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as design and engineering, to ensure seamless workflow and successful boat construction.
  • Manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each stage of boat construction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Train and mentor production staff to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary targets.
  • Report on production performance, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience in production management and overseeing manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of safety measures and production efficiency improvement
  • Strong leadership and management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of boat manufacturing and design is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in NavalArchitect, Engineering, or related field
  • Need experience in Drawings, AutoCAD
  • Knows how to deal with Customer
  • Specializing in 28, 34, 36, 40, and 54 feet boats
