Weare seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Health &Safety Officer to oversee the health and safety measures acrossmultiple restaurant brands in diverse demographic areas within theUAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuringcompliance with all food safety regulations managing municipalityinspections and maintaining high auditscores.

KeyResponsibilities:

Health& SafetyCompliance:
  • Developimplement and maintain food safety policies and procedures inaccordance with local and internationalregulations.
  • Ensureall restaurant locations comply with health and safety standardsset by the Company andauthorities.
  • MunicipalityInspections:
  • Liaisewith municipal authorities and ensure timely compliance withinspectionrequirements.
  • Addressand rectify any issues identified during inspectionspromptly.

Audits:
  • Conductregular internal audits to ensure all food safety practices arefollowed.
  • Coordinatewith operations team on implementing corrective actions andpreventivemeasures.
  • Ensureall staff are trained and adhere to food safetyprotocols.

TrainingandDevelopment:
  • Developand deliver Onsite training programs for staff on food safety andhygienepractices.
  • Keepup to date with current health and safety regulations and ensurethe team is informed and trainedaccordingly.
  • IncidentManagement:
  • Investigatefood safety incidents and implement corrective actions to preventrecurrence.
  • Maintainrecords of all incidents and follow up on correctiveactions.

DocumentationandReporting:
  • Maintainaccurate records of inspections audits training andincidents.
  • Prepareand present reports on food safety performance tomanagement.

CoordinationandCommunication:
  • Coordinatewith different departments to ensure integrated food safetymanagement.
  • Communicateeffectively with staff management and external stakeholdersregarding food safety issues andimprovements.


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in food science Environmental Health or a relatedfield.
  • Minimumof 5 years of experience in food safety preferably within therestaurant or hospitalityindustry.
  • Certificationin food safety (e.g. HACCP ISO 22000) is highlydesirable.
  • Strongknowledge of UAE food safety regulations andstandards.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Abilityto work in a fastpaced multibrandenvironment.
  • Strongorganizational and problemsolvingskills.
