Engineering TechnicalServices (ETS) department ensures optimalperformance for one of the world's most advanced aircraftfleets. We focus on fleet technical management, airworthiness, andtechnical support to uphold safety, reliability,cost-effectiveness, and passenger comfort.

Ourskilled engineers work closely with manufacturers and vendors toadvance aircraft technologies. ETS includes Fleet TechnicalManagement, GCAA/EASA Design Organization, Maintenance Programmes& Configuration, and Technical Publications. We driveinnovation and maintain top industry standards to ensure peakoperational excellence.

TheTechnical Services Officer willprovide fleet technical management, continuing airworthinessmanagement and technical support functions for Emirates fleet toensure compliance to regulatory & safety requirements,reliability, passenger comfort and costeffectiveness.

In This Role, YouWill

  • Support Technical Services Engineerswith fleet technical management activities, continuingairworthiness management and technical support functions forassigned section, ie Airframe, Structures, Avionics, PowerPlant andCabin Interior.
  • Support Technical ServicesEngineers with evaluation of manufacturers/regulatory authorities?technical documents, taking appropriate actions and update internalengineering documents including Engineering Orders and SpecialEngineering Workcards.
  • Review in-service data(e.g Tech log, Pilot Reports, Defects) and recommend actions toimprove fleet, engine, component and/or system reliability andmaintainability, including optimisation of aircraft maintenanceprograms.
  • Provide appropriate technical supportin the acquisition of new aircraft and end of leaseactivities.
  • Provide technicalclarifications/justification to internal stakeholders in support ofcost optimisation, contract negotiation, repair and modificationprocesses.
  • Carry out project functions insupport major modifications, retrofits, cabin reconfigurations andaircraft phaseout requirements.
  • SupportTechnical Services Engineers to deliver technical assistance andoperational support in disruptions scenarios including the handlingof technical/Aircraft on Ground (AOG), troubleshooting, aircraftchronic and deferred defects and technicaldelays.
  • Support Technical Services Engineers toaddress fleet significant faults, defects, design issues andquality escapements and liaise with Vendors and Manufacturers tokeep a track of open technical queries and develop follow-up actionwithin the group.
  • Review and analyse technicaldata in support of dept KPIs, highlighting trends and makingrecommendation reports/proposal forimprovement.
  • Contribute to department ITinitiatives and collaboratively develop concepts and methods toimprove efficiency within the group functions.

Qualifications&Experience

To beconsidered for the role, you must meet the belowrequirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 orequivalent).
  • Bachelor's Degree inAeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or holder ofAircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 3 years Experiencerelated Aircraft Engineering experience.
  • 3 yearof experience in Engineering.
  • Should have aminimum of 1 year in Technical Services function.

Knowledge/skills

  • Knowledge of latest technicaldevelopments and industry trends on respectivesystems.
  • Ability to analyse and synthesisetechnical information for implementation in cost effectiveways.
  • Excellent drafting/report writingskills.
  • Demonstrable experience in managingcomplex tasks and decision making in a fast pacedenvironment.

  7. DocumentationSkills: Proficiency in creating and maintainingtechnical documentation, including user manuals, troubleshootingguides, and knowledge basearticles.

  8. TechnicalTraining: Experience in training customers or teammembers on product usage and bestpractices.

  9. Adaptability:Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changingenvironments and customerrequirements.

  10. QualityAssurance: Understanding of testing and qualityassurance processes to ensure that products meet required standardsbefore deployment.
