Responsibilities: Compensation &BenefitsProcessing

  • Participates in the preparation of the yearly C&B payrollbudget and monitors progress throughout theyear.
  • Partakes in the compensation benchmarkingexercise by consolidating and summarizing the generated marketanalysis data.
  • Participates in revamping thesales incentive schemes by channel to ensure competitiveedge.
  • Monitors & follows up regularlywith sales managers on the right implementation & processesof the incentive schemes.
  • Coordinates theaccurate processing of payroll within a specified timeframe toensure accordance with statutoryrequirements.
  • Calculates and processes allsalary and wage increases in addition to other adjustments andtermination payments to ensure accordance with statutoryrequirements.
  • Processes authorized deductionsand allocations of labor costs (payroll taxes NSSF deductionsemployee benefits etc.) paid by both the employee and employer inorder to calculate precise monthlywages.
  • Ensures that all payroll information onthe computerized payroll system is updated to maintain reliabilityand to prepare accurate reports asrequired.
  • Facilitates the electronic &physical transfer of salaries and wages to financial institutionsto ensure the confidential receipt of information ontime.
  • Conducts all payroll accounting entriesthroughout the month and generate the monthly statement forrelevant accounts.
  • Reconciles payroll generalledger accounts on monthly basis and at year end to ensure thematching ofaccounts.

Organizing &Reporting

  • Ensures that all employee payroll information and documentation andrecords are received accurate and complete and maintained to allowease of access of full & updated personnelfiles.
  • Updates on monthly basis the C&BKPIs figures in addition to the consolidation of Recruitment andL&D KPIs to the HR dashboard
  • Provideseffective solutions to administrative payroll issues to make themless timeconsuming.
  • Prepares reports on payrollissues to achieve periodic review of policies andprocedures.
Qualifications: Academic Education & ProfessionalCertifications
  • BA inAccounting
  • HR Certification is aplus
  • 3 5 years of experience inPayroll
  • Exposure to HR is aplus

Skills &Competencies
  • Excellentcommand of Excel computer skills
  • JDE PayrollSoftware knowledge is a plus
  • Very GoodReporting skills
  • General Knowledge inaccounting principles
  • Knowledge of Income& NSSF taxations
  • Knowledge of LaborLaw
