Job Purpose: The Customer InsightsAnalyst will be responsible for developing the data infrastructurebehind the customercentric marketing business and improving themarketing data lifecycle from the way data is extracted andprepared to the way analysis is performed and presented. Along withthe marketing enablement team develop and map out the dataingestion and integration processes from various internal andexternal sources streamlining the information for the use of ourmarketing teams. The marketing data platform and tools deliveredwill play a pivotal part in the success of the business servinganalysts and decision makers with the right toolkit to harness datafor years to come.
In this role you will:

  • Collect interpret and simplifyincoming customer and marketing data across multiple data sourcesmaking it usable for different applications. Work closely with thecustomer insights and campaign analysts to help them get the mostout of our data and enable the discovery of actionable insightsthat support decision making across CCMB.
  • Drive continuous improvements in extractionaggregation profiling testing and analysis of terabytes of customerdata. Effectively apply technology to surface insightsautomatically optimise data delivery and simplify selfservicesupport for analysts.
  • Design develop andlaunch robust automated data pipelines that provide stability andaccuracy ensuring analysts can leverage the required customer datain any analytical exercises. Endtoend analytics project ownershipincluding testing and validation of our ETL processes pipelinesattributes and models.
  • Identify and integratenew data streams and establish data sources for various marketingmetrics.
  • Work with our enterprise analyticsand data science teams to research prototype and implement newstatistical methodologies that extend the portfolio of insights wecan provide to the marketing teams.
  • Passionateabout data quality and accuracy identify incomplete or inaccuratedata and proactively monitor for emerging issues. Optimise datapipelines and processes to parse format and transform source datainto units consistent with analytical needs and aligned to thebusiness measurement framework.
  • In partnershipwith IT and the marketing enablement team build a scalable flexibleand extensible middleware / API framework that supports dataintegration with our thirdparty marketing technologypartners.

Qualifications& Experience: To be considered for this role you must meetthe below requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (123 orequivalent) in Marketing Communications or ECommerce.
  • 5 years experience in Brand/Productmanagement.
  • Experience in analytical researchcustomer behaviour analysis.
  • Experience inanalysing customer behaviour for marketing purposes.
  • Statistical analysis skills for marketingpurposes (customer segmentation targeting and profiling digitalattribution econometric modelling multivariate and A/B testing).
  • Experience working with customer segmentationmodels including descriptive and predictive models.
  • Data visualization skills and ability topresent technical solutions to nontechnical audience.
  • Broad understanding of marketing researchcurrent tools methods and applications.
  • Understanding of database architecture and themanagement / synthesis of data distributed across multiple systems(Excel/Access and SQL).
  • Broad understandingand experience working with digital marketing technologiesincluding Google Analytics Google Big Query DMPs targeting/digitaloptimization marketing platforms.
  • Experiencewith Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational communication andpresentation skills.
  • Ability to handleconcurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience developing management levelreporting.
  • Ability to translate technicalconcepts to a broad group of marketingstakeholders.
