JobSummary:

The Senior Operations Lead Logistics isresponsible for overseeing and managing relationships with fleetpartners & captains supervisors ensuring the efficientoperation and maintenance of the fleet. This role involvescoordinating with internal teams and external captains to optimizefleet performance reduce costs and maintain high servicestandards.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • FleetManagement: Oversee daily operations related to fleet managementincluding captain acquisition captain uniforms and boxes. Ensurethat the fleet is operating efficiently and in compliance withcompany policies and industryregulations.

  • Acquisition:Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet captains andcaptains. Negotiate contracts manage service level agreements(SLAs) and address any issues or concerns that arise in day to daybusinessoperations.

  • PerformanceMonitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)related to fleet performance and fleet captains. Use datadriveninsights to identify areas for improvement and implement strategiesto enhance operationalefficiency.

  • BudgetOversight: Manage the fleet budget including monitoring expensesforecasting future costs and identifying opportunities for costsavings. Ensure that all expenditures are within budgetaryconstraints.

  • Compliance:Ensure that all fleet operations adhere to relevant safety legaland environmental regulations. Stay updated on industry bestpractices and regulatorychanges.

  • Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor a team of fleet coordinators or assistants.Provide guidance training and support to ensure high performanceand professionaldevelopment.

  • FleetReporting: Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performanceand budget status to senior management. Highlight achievementschallenges and recommendations forimprovements.

  • Problem Resolution:Address and resolve any issues related to fleet operations orcaptain relations in a timely and effective manner. Implementcorrective actions asnecessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration Logistics Fleet Management or arelated field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of adegree.

  • Proven experience infleet management logistics or a related role with at least 35 yearsof supervisoryexperience.

  • Strongunderstanding of fleet operations fleet maintenance and industryregulations.

  • Excellentnegotiation communication and interpersonalskills.
