Theposition As a Diabetes MedicalManager you will play an essential role within the Medical Affairsteam and focus on furthering scientific exchange between thecompany and the medical community. Yourmain accountabilities will include:
  • Delivering medical and scientificknowledge through both internal and externalactivities
  • Ensuring thatKey Opinion Leaders (KOLs) Medical Specialists and other relevantstakeholders are kept aware and possess the adequate tools tosupport their fight against Diabetes and related theuticareas
  • Developing &managing Product Medical strategy delivering bestincl scientificactivities and educational programs publication planning and bymaintaining a regular voice within UAE MedicalCommunity
  • Supporting andenforcing research activities from a medical standpoint withinternal as well as externalstakeholders
  • Maintainingclose cooperation and support in a crossfunctional manner with ourCMR Market Access Marketing and Sales Teams and managing fieldbasedmedical

QualificationsAs our Diabetes Medical Manager you need to have a medical degree(Medicine/ Pharmacy/ Dentistry) experience in diabetes therapyareas within scientific and pharmaceutical understanding businessaen. Ideally you would have minimum of 3 years in the medicalaffairs department. To be successful inthis role we expect you to have:
  • Total minimum 5 years of industryor clinical experience relevant to the companys theutic interestsin endocrinology anddiabetes
  • Excellentleadership and communication ss team player and be ambitiousselfmotivated proactive excellent planning with a highly organizedmindset.
  • Previousexperience with research and realworld evidence generationexperience in or exposure to product launch planning from a medicalstandpoint
  • Experience inproject management with the ability to manage multiple ongoingprojects and multitasking capability isrequired
  • Preferably aminimum 1 year of experience in People Management or as amanager

  • Handson medical Excellence Governance and medical omnichannel experienceis preferred.
  • Excellentmedical communication ss and fluency inEnglish

Aboutthe department CMRPV is a dynamicand diverse department consisting of highly qualified professionalswho are responsible for conducting realworld evidence interactionswith medical professionals and regulatory authorities for currenttherapy areas such as Diabetes Obesity and Rare Diseases as well asother related current and new therapy areas. Medical affairs arethe core leaders in driving scientific exchange with health careprofessionals in addition to being the bridge between relevantstakeholders and delivering insights across the functions ensuringmedical compliance to ultimately meet Novo Nordisks promiseimproving patients lives. Regulatory and PV (Pharmacovigilance)strive to ensure the best and the fastest strategies for New Drugapplications and maintain licenses to operate besides delivering PVexcellence audit and inspection readiness.
