The job holder will also e nsureall required shipment data provided to the relevant authoritiesprior to loading the shipment on the aircraft from its originstation. Monitor Emirates SkyCargo internal trade compliance systemand take timely action to stop or approve the hits on RegulatorySanctions Dual Use Goods denied party screening embargoed shipmentsetc. Timely action all communication related to day to dayfunctioning of PLACI and trade compliance related queries to ensurestations and customers are not impacted with execute theirshipments.

Job Outline:

  • Research industryinformation and assist the COSC in formulating and updatingcriteria and guidelines for the selection/renewal of Cargo HandlingAgents including trucking where appropriate at all online andoffline points and for freighter aircraft Ramp Handling and Deicingagents
  • Update and maintain tender cargohandling questionnaires and related tools to elicit requiredinformation from potential handling agents to serve as a key toolin the process of GHA evaluation analyse responses to tenderhandling questionnaires from the potential serviceproviders/suppliers and prepare summarised analysis to assistshortlisting of potential service providers
  • Collate and provide appropriate industry andinternal statistical analysis and related strategic information toserve as key decision support tools in the handling agencyselection/renewal process
  • Formulate guidelinesand checklist for GHA commencement and/or changeover and coordinatethe transition process with route management systems trainingoutstation cargo manager to ensure continuity of operations
  • Provide input for the design and developmentof Service Level Agreements and Performance Measurement Reportsboth generic as well as customised to individual stations.Continuously update and enhance SLA and PMR formats and assist inits effective implementation Guide the network operations personnelon the daytoday management of GHA performance to ensure servicedelivery standards are aligned with Sky Cargo operational andcustomer service objectives with special emphasis onfreighter/charter related requirements
  • Liaisewith outstation Cargo Managers with respect to collating andanalysing issues involving safety customer service claims andoperational efficiency in order to assist COSC to monitor GHAperformance ensure PMRs are obtained on time from outstations andconverted into Quality Attainment Reports for publishing on theSkyCargo website through Network Cargo Sales Development unit
  • Obtain handling costs information throughliaison with Operations finance and outstation Cargo Managers andprovide detailed analysis to determine corrective measures towardscost containment
  • Formulate documentation selfhandling procedures and monitor implementation at stations selectedto introduce such an initiative in close coordination with RouteManagement outstation Cargo Manager and Systems units
  • Participate and assist the COSC in the processof identifying the parameters to compare GHA performance across thenetwork and initiating a mechanism to recognise and rewardoutstanding performance
  • Ensure at all timesthat the handling of time and temperature and pharmaceuticalshipments demonstrates compliance to the European Union GoodDistribution Practice (EU GDP)requirements.
