Responsibilities

  • Provide OCI Infrastructure strategicplanning and technical guidance supporting Oracle EBS Applicationsand Middleware within a cloud environment
  • Solvecomplex technical problems that may involve multiple technologylayers including database, messaging, operating systems,application servers, languages, and othermiddleware
  • Utilize effective communication,technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and theability to work successfully with other business and technologypersonnel, and internal customers, to provide responsive supportand maintenance
  • Contribute to programs andinitiatives designed to advance company strategicpriorities
  • Provide OCI Infrastructure strategicplanning support for Oracle EBS Applications within the Air Forcecloud environment
  • Support the full life cyclespanning installation, configuration, patching, cloning, security,upgrades, user maintenance, troubleshooting, backup management,performance tuning, table space management, data recovery, anddisaster recovery planning
  • Create and maintaindocumentation
  • Support CEMLI’s(Configurations, Extensions, Modifications, Localizations andIntegrations)
  • Coordinate with functional teams,developers and clients
  • Work collaborativelywithin an Agile development environment
  • Deliverexceptional service to internal and external clients, partners, andteammates

Required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Business Information Systems, or related fieldand comparable experience
  • Knowledge of EBSadministration, cloning, cloud infrastructure installation,upgrades, and patching
  • LMI may choose tosubstitute education with relevant experience

Preferred Education,Experience, & Skills

  • 5+ years of Oracle EBSexperience
  • Experience with technologies such asWebLogic, SOAP/Rest, Bastion, Gateways, Load Balancing, and OracleIdentity Access Management, to name afew
  • Strong OCI experience deploying,integrating, and configuring Oracle Modules in an enterpriseenvironment
  • PerformanceManagement
  • Experience with Secure Hybrid Cloudsolutions
  • Experience with High Availability,Cloning, Data Encryption, and DisasterRecovery
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) formonitoring and management of databases
  • Havestrong communication and interpersonalskills
  • Experience working within an Agileenvironment
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS R12and 11g database
  • Solid interpersonal skills andthe ability to effectively organize and communicate acrossfunctional and technical lines arecritical.
