Main duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and lead theoverarching social media strategy that aligns with the luxurypositioning of the Group and supports business objectives.
- Development of ChinaSpecific MarketingStrategy: Craft and implement a marketing strategy for the Groupthat is specifically tailored to the Chinese market aligned withthe corporate brand and global marketing strategy.
- Ensure alignment with the overarching businessobjectives in the region and effective execution of thesestrategies.
- Ensure marketing budgetsactivities and engagement with external marketing agencies arewellaligned with the marketspecific needs of the Chinese luxuryhospitality sector.
- Lead inspire and develop amarketing team focused on the Chinese market.
- Establish standards for best practices anddrive a highperforming team that understands the nuances of theChinese luxury hospitality industry.
- Partnerwith sales and marketing teams to oversee direct channel marketingprograms tailored for the Chinese market ensuring these initiativessignificantly impact revenue growth.
- Interactwith key stakeholders and General Managers for campaigns that haveboth a regional and Chinaspecific focus.
- Ensurethat marketing strategies not only align with the brand strategybut also resonate with Chinese consumers and stakeholders adaptingbrand and performance application for the Chinese market asrequired.
- Initiate and lead market research andcustomer insight projects within China to identify direct businessopportunities and innovative revenuegenerating products orservices.
- Work with revenue and distributionteam to develop innovative and profitable digital marketingstrategies with a special focus on platforms and channels popularin China to boost room bookings and brandpresence.
- Oversee the management and creationof marketing materials and localized advertising campaigns that arespecifically designed for the Chinesemarket.
- Lead the development of strongmarketing relationships and partnerships within the Chinesemarket.
- Coordinate and support the creation andimplementation of multiproperty seasonal offers and regionalcampaigns with a creative media and activation approach thatappeals to the Chinese audience both at a brand and property level(ownership and consulting).
- Develop marketinglaunch campaigns for new property openings within the Chinesemarket ensuring they are culturally sensitive andmarketappropriate.
Experienceandqualifications:
- Excellentknowledge of the Chinese social networks & socialmedia
- Must have Chinese (Mandarin) fluency(written spoken)
- Bachelors degree in Marketing/Business Studies or Similar
- Desirable: Mastersdegree in Marketing or an MBA
- Minimum of 8tears experience in a similar Marketing position withinhospitality
- Experience with luxury hotel brands(desirable)
- Analytical focus with strongquantitative & budget managementskills
- Experience of creating annual marketingstrategies
- Skilled at creating senior levelmarketing reports and demonstrating ROI
- Leadand develop high performanceteams
