RoleResponsibilities

  • Serve as the key point of contact foradministrative support and activities related to the SCD MmarketingTeam.
  • Handle all duties with a high degree ofintegrity, professionalism, andconfidentiality.
  • Create agendas and scheduleand plan meetings across multiplecalendars
  • Assemble PowerPoint or otherpresentation materials and plan / arrange for anymeals/refreshments needed.
  • Organize travelarrangements, reconcile expense reports, an provide interface forapplications for Corporate AE cards asnecessary.
  • Organize documents and maintain aninventory of electronic and hard copy files allowing for easyaccess.
  • Open and track all purchase orders andwork with vendors to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner;liaise with finance as needed.
  • Manage/Openpurchase orders through Pfizer's Ariba system and trackinginvoices.
  • Manage set-up and logistics for largeor off-site meetings.
  • Identify, evaluate, andpartner with cost-effective vendors in the execution of theactivities. 
  • Ensure accuracy of work and usejudgment to determine work methods in differentsituations.
  • Contribute ideas, fostering paceand enthusiasm, negotiating timely execution ofwork.
  • Suggest and implement processimprovements for administrative tasks.
  • Prepareteam communication material asrequired.
  • Support on-boarding activities andteam development and training.
  • Facilitateresolution of difficult issues and problems that arise within scopeof responsibilities.
  • Provide administrativesupport and serve as backup administrative support for otherdepartments, when necessary.
  • Take personalaccountability for quality of own work that impacts the department,manages own time, professional development, prioritizeworkflow.
  • Support activities associated withsite / department operational /cultural transformationgoals.

BasicQualifications

  • High School Diploma orGED.
  • 6+ years'experience.
  • Demonstrated planning andorganizing skills.
  • Demonstrated administrativeexperience with an ability to carry out all office functionsproficiently, and to complete quality work on a timelybasis.
  • Excellent attention to detail andinterpersonal skills.
  • Excellent judgment aswell as the ability to work with confidential documents andinformation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite required, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Office andother features.
  • Prior experience as anAdministrative Assistant or providing administrative support toexecutive leadership in a global organization preferred but notnecessary.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceuticalindustry and healthcare environment preferred but notnecessary.
  • Exposure to SAP, Ariba, Concur,WorkDay preferred but not necessary.
