Field Service Engineer – DP

Installation and commissioning of our Dynamic Positioning and Joystick Control Systems, Acoustic Positioning Systems (HiPAP), various reference systems & sensors from Kongsberg Seatex, and Bandak Tautwire systems.In-house engineering and onboard commissioning of DP Software (tuning of vessel model, Software upgrades & Interface modifications).Perform tasks for system maintenance and performance assessments.Provide technical support to internal and external customers.Support troubleshooting, configuring & repairing the products and other connected units as applicable.Perform on-call services, system acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, upgrades, onboard training, fault analysis, and rectification work at customer sites and installations.Be able and willing to perform emergency call-out services (including non-office hours) to provide customers with fast and efficient services within UAE and worldwide.Execute the requested job in the best way to meet customer’s deadlines and expectations.Work closely with the Product center for timely updates and for continuous knowledge improvement.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one or more of the following: electronics or instrumentation.Minimum 3 years field experience in Dynamic positioning system field services.Willingness to travel on short notice.Fluent in English, both written and orally.Highly motivated for worldwide travel & support activities.Meet the health requirements that apply for offshore work.Ability to work with others in a team.Service-minded/humble, and know the importance of giving the necessary attention to our customers.
