As the SpecialtyAccount Manager in UAE you will be responsible forendtoend management of specialty products. You are expected to leadthe engagement with relevant internal & externalstakeholders deliver tailored patientfocused detailing for HCPsensure availability of the product for patients support productformulary enlisting and deliver expected businessoutcomes.

Important Points to Consider

Thisfieldbased specialty account manager role is

  • Required to be located in United Arab Emiratespreferably Abu Dhabi.
  • Responsible for theassigned territory Abu Dhabi & Al Ain as well as possibleother Gulf countries
  • Reports directly to theGulf Team Leader
  • Likely to require frequentbusiness travels within the country and across Gulfregion.

Minimum Level of Qualifications

  • Science related degree (medical pharmacyetc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years pharma industrysales experience; ideally in various therapeutic areas anddifferent specialties
  • Having consistent highperformance proven success record within his/her company
  • Excellent presentation product detailing and salesskills
  • Comprehensive understanding of thespecialty business dynamics country specific requirements andrelated HCP groups such as RheumatologyNephrology and Infectiousdisease
  • Able to manage relationships withHCPs key institutions and professional associations
  • Resilient selfmotivated and persistent able to meetdeadlines and be effective under pressure.
  • Excited for challenging statusquo using creativity and coming upwith new & bold ideas
  • Fluent inwritten and spoken English.

PreferredExperiences

  • Specialtyexperience ideally experience on niche lifechangingproducts
  • Product launch experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic

CoreResponsibilities

  • Deliverthe execution of commercial strategical priorities in the definedterritory & offer the appropriate solutions by being atrusted advisor to HCPs.
  • Monitor productperformance on monthly basis and recommend required actions throughdeveloping and effectively executing a robust territory businessplan aligned to commercial strategy.
  • Supportdriving the implementation of the annual operational plan includingnew campaigns development and roll out based on market needs whilesecuring necessary medical & regulatoryapprovals.
  • Develop market intelligence& initiate the forecasting process in alignment with thecommercial trade channel and marketing teams to reflect the actualmarket demand.
  • Drive endtoend patientsolutions & tracking to support the product supply process& coordinate with supply chain and commercial trade channelteams to ensure product availability and manage the productsshelflife.
  • Conduct frequent effectiveexternal meetings and interactions with HCPs to drive disease& product awareness.
  • Establish longlasting relationship with scientific societies & KEEs toleverage advocacy & support patient care across theregion.
  • Coordinate with market access team todevelop & implement access plans of a defined territory toestablish a clear access roadmap with the key accounts.

Accountability

  • Driveperformance and results through continuous patient recruitment andendtoend account management with full adherence to GSK way ofworking.
  • Develop agree and implement areabusiness plan prioritizing key risks & opportunities peraccount and optimize resources to maximize results.
  • Carry out marketing specific tasks that will addressmarket needs to drive portfolios performance.
  • Manage the supply of the product ensuring close follow up withsupply team and CTC team on timely delivery of quantities capturedon demand tools until order fulfilment.
  • Ensure developing necessary intelligence and patient enrolment peraccount to be translated into robust demand forecast.
  • Develop and manage long term collaborative businesspartnerships with HCPs and key accounts.

ComplianceResponsibilities

  • Fullcooperation in terms of GSK and country standard way ofoperations.
  • Build and maintain complianceknowledge and implement governance processes to ensure thatactivities take place in adherence to GSKs prevailing codespolicies and procedures and legal requirements.
  • Ensure strong business partnerships with stakeholders tomanage issue that may arise and determine approved courses ofaction.
  • Develop collaborative relationshipsbased on trust openness honesty and transparency.
  • Demonstrate authenticity values andintegrity.
