Customer Engineer

PositionResponsibilities:
- Engage with customers (Airlines andLessors) to understand their retrofit modificationrequirements.
- Review aircraft configurations,provide technical expertise and assist customers in selecting theappropriate retrofit modifications based on their specific aircraftconfigurations and operationrequirements.
- Initiate the proposal generationprocess.
- Collaborate with internal teams todevelop and present retrofit proposals
- Supportmodifications for all business product lines including: Interiors,Connectivity, Avionics, AP&S (Airplane Performance& Safety), and BCF (Boeing ConvertedFreighter).
- Develop and maintain relationshipsand partnerships with internal and external customers,stakeholders, peers, partners and directreports.
- Monitor proposal progress and keepcustomers updated.
WorkAuthorisation:
This requisitionis for a locally hired position in Ireland. Candidates must havecurrent legal authorisation to work immediately in Ireland. Boeingwill not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship forany applicants.
Benefits and pay aredetermined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. basedpayroll.
Relocation:This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live inthe immediate area or relocate at their ownexpense.
Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from anaccredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology(includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry,physics, mathematics, or computer science, or Non-US equivalenteducation.
PreferredQualifications (DesiredSkills/Experience):
- Possession of a B2 license with 5+years of experience.
- A solid background inaviation engineering with an understanding of aircraft retrofitmodifications.
- Proven experience incustomer-facing roles, demonstrating exceptional communicationsskills, relationship-building abilities and the capacity tounderstand and address the customer needseffectively.
- Experience working with airlineand/or leasing organizations.
- Experienceworking with EASA Part 21 designorganizations.
- Good communication, projectmanagement and organizational skills.
- Skill andability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data;summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations fromappropriate data sources.
