As aprofessional in your role your responsibilities and essential jobfunctions will include but are not limitedto:

GCC (Gulf CooperationCouncil

  • Develop andimplement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within theGCC region.
  • Identify and pursue new businessopportunities partnerships and clients in the hospitalityindustry.
  • Build and maintain strongrelationships with corporate clients travel agencies and keyaccounts in the GCC market.
  • Collaborate withthe marketing team to create promotional materials and campaignstailored to the GCC audience.
  • Conduct marketresearch to stay informed about industry trends competitoractivities and customer preferences in theregion.
  • Coordinate and participate in tradeshows exhibitions and industry events to promote the hotel andgenerate leads.
  • Negotiate and finalizecontracts with clients ensuring mutually beneficial terms andconditions.
  • Prepare and present regular salesreports forecasts and budgets to the senior managementteam.
  • Train and mentor sales staff providingguidance on effective sales techniques and customer relationshipmanagement.
  • Develop and execute salesstrategies to secure government contracts andpartnerships.

Government

  • Identifyand pursue opportunities for the hotel to provide accommodationsand services to government entities.
  • Build andmaintain relationships with government officials procurementofficers and decisionmakers.
  • Stay informedabout government procurement processes regulations and compliancerequirements.
  • Collaborate with the legal andcompliance teams to ensure that all contracts and agreements meetgovernment standards.
  • Prepare and submit bidsproposals and tender documents in response to governmentrequests.
  • Coordinate with internal departmentsto ensure the hotel meets all government requirements andspecifications.
  • Monitor and report ongovernment procurement trends and upcomingopportunities.
  • Provide regular updates ongovernment sales activities to seniormanagement.

Ideally youshould possess some or all the following qualifications andexperience:

  • Bachelors degreein business Marketing Public Administration or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience as a sales Manager& government sale in the hospitality industry with a focuson the GCC market.
  • Indepth knowledge of the GCChospitality and travel industry including key players and marketdynamics.
  • Knowledge of government procurementprocesses and regulations
  • Strong networkingskills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships withkey decisionmakers.
  • Excellent communication andnegotiation skills.
  • Ability to workindependently and as part of a team in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software andsales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travelwithin the GCC region as needed.
