Middle Office Analyst - Oil Trading

We are working with a leading integrated energy trading firm seeking to expand their team. With offices in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, they trade crude and products globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily trading activities for the trading desk
  • Update ETRM systems with trading information
  • Prepare PnL and exposure for designated business lines
  • Ensure proper booking and system allocations
  • Ensure market valuations of positions held are accurate
  • Reconcile daily PnL

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role in the trading or oil trading industries
  • Deep knowledge of MS Excel (preferably with VBA and Python skills)
  • Understanding of an ETRM system
  • Understanding of hedging and paper contracts
