Overview of the role:
The Digital Studio and Asset Specialist is primarily responsible for providing digital asset content (mainly images) to Al Futtaim eCommerce retail.
What you will do: -
Description of Accountability:
- Responsible for the management of the operational day-to-day running of the Digital Studio facility for e-Commerce.
- Responsible for providing strong managerial support to the Digital Asset Manager to ensure the team has sufficient resource to deliver world class e-commerce product imagery.
- Work with the internal web content team and our clients brand guidelines to produce automated product images, 360 spin views, cut-out and lifestyle photography for the e-Commerce website, social media and other marketing channels when required.
- Responsible for generating product photography across multiple categories as needed from clothing to furniture.
- Manage the photography schedule to ensure products given priority are shot and delivered on time
- Create and Maintain studio KPIs
- Develop and track various studio team goals around productivity. Monitor metrics and report results to Digital Asset Manager on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Responsible for all learning, development and training for the full time Studio Team
- Continue to develop and refine the studio facility processes. This is to include but not limited to: internal studio facility processes, how the studio team work with the digital asset executives, and how they interact with the wider business keeping in mind potential to expansion into video production at a later stage
- Work with Digital Asset Coordinator to organizing digital assets in DAM/DAR system using best practices
- Develop best practices and processes for:
- Searching, downloading, and distributing digital assets
- Securing digital assets - including copyright protection preventing downloads and rights management.
- Liaise with the e-Stores Trading Specialist and the Design & Content Specialist, to gather all advertisements & designs produced and catalogue them into the digital archive.
- Generation of Digital Assets as required by Brand Guideline
- Day to day running and maintenance of the digital archive
- Managing and assisting Digital Asset Executives in creating, loading, organizing, renaming and logging all assets according to asset type, brand, and campaign
- Responsible for all learning, development and training for all full time Digital Asset Exes
- Generating products reviews and comparisons
- Publish to DAR / dedicated channels.
- Review workflow for continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain Studio KPIs
- Present a range of creative solutions to the Digital Asset Manager according the brand guidelines.
- Work closely, as needed, with the Digital Content Specialist to synchronise content and images generation for each brand.
- Excellent English skills (speaking, writing and reading). Arabic would be an advantage
- Strong skills required in use of computers and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, etc…) is a must.
- Preferably has previous supervisory / auditing experience,
- Solid understanding of marketing, media and technology.
- Excellent presentation & time management skills with delivery skills.
- Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to succeed in a multi-cultural environment.
- High level of initiative, problem solving and decision making ability.
- Target oriented and drive to exceed demanding challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in digital photography, Advertising, Illustration, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an ad agency preferably within an eCommerce organization.
- Adobe Certification (ACA) is wished in (Digital Design Curriculum, Visual Design Curriculum and Digital Video Curriculum).
- Must be able to quickly assess issues and react to changing circumstances and new information.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a software life-cycle.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and mutli-tasking while paying close attention to detail.
- Has worked and coordinated directly with the Ecommerce business units
