We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Offshore Riggers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing rigging gear, such as cables, ropes, and winches, to move, position, and secure heavy equipment or materials on the offshore platform. They will also be responsible for crane operations and general maintenance of rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Install and assemble rigging equipment, such as cables, ropes, and winches, to provide support and secure heavy equipment on the offshore platform.
  • Operate cranes to move and lift heavy equipment and materials to specific locations on the platform.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues.
  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Follow rigging plans and instructions to ensure equipment and materials are correctly positioned and secured.
  • Participate in rigging and safety meetings to discuss job expectations, potential hazards, and safety precautions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Offshore Rigger in the oil and gas industry.
  • Must have experience with crane operation and rigging equipment assembly and maintenance.
  • Hold a valid Rigger certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret rigging plans and instructions.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to rigging and crane operations.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
