Responsibilities

  • Operate rigging equipment (e.g.cranes, winches, hoists) to lift, move, and position equipment andmaterials on offshore platforms
  • Inspect andmaintain rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficientoperation
  • Follow rigging plans and proceduresfor lifting and moving heavy loads
  • Communicatewith crane operators, riggers, and other team members to ensuresafe and coordinated operations
  • Monitor loadmovements and maintain proper rigging tension andangles
  • Ensure compliance with company safetystandards and procedures
  • Assist with themaintenance and repair of rigging equipment andsystems
  • Participate in safety meetings andactively contribute to a culture of safety awareness and bestpractices

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience asan offshore rigger
  • Valid rigging certificationor equivalent training and experience
  • Strongunderstanding of rigging principles, equipment, and safepractices
  • Knowledge of offshore operations andsafety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpretrigging plans and technical drawings
  • Physicallyfit and capable of lifting and moving heavy loads in a safemanner
  • Excellent communication and teamworkskills
  • Attention to detail and ability to workeffectively in a fast-pacedenvironment
