Responsibilities

  • Operate rigging equipment (e.g. cranes, winches, hoists) to lift, move, and position equipment and materials on offshore platforms
  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Follow rigging plans and procedures for lifting and moving heavy loads
  • Communicate with crane operators, riggers, and other team members to ensure safe and coordinated operations
  • Monitor load movements and maintain proper rigging tension and angles
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of rigging equipment and systems
  • Participate in safety meetings and actively contribute to a culture of safety awareness and best practices

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an offshore rigger
  • Valid rigging certification or equivalent training and experience
  • Strong understanding of rigging principles, equipment, and safe practices
  • Knowledge of offshore operations and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret rigging plans and technical drawings
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy loads in a safe manner
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
