Job Description

You will be leading the business unit for enterprise (B2B) research and providing consultancy service to clients across verticals through primary and secondary research. In addition, you will Identify new opportunities for Nielsen IQ by developing Consumer Insights business in the B2B research space. 

Accountabilities

Accountable for developing relationship with key clients for B2B research and service their research requirements Generate opportunities for Nielsen IQ to pitch relevant solutions. Demonstrate industry and B2B expertise in research across verticals. Verticals including but not limited to Technology, Telecom, Financial services, Business services etc New opportunity prospecting, taking research brief, developing relevant proposal/ proposition Being involved in all research related stages like questionnaire development, data analysis and report writing. Provides advice on the execution of projects, informs clients on progress and gives specific instructions to other departments regarding the collection and electronic processing of information Conduct secondary research as per requirement Present the findings of the report to client. Handle client queries or complaints. Client stakeholder management. Provide advice and consultation to clients and staff Managing client financials including invoicing and collection. Develops strategic understanding of industry trends, competition and opportunities of Nielsen IQ Provide top management with thorough review of internal and client financials including budget and forecast

Requirements: 

Strong client focus Strong understanding of Telecom research (since large part of B2B research is within the Telecom vertical) to enable meaningful conversations with all client stakeholders, and ensure accurate representation of the data in reporting and insights Ability to understand all technical aspects the industry related to B2B offerings of the research to carry out internal Nielsen and client based conversations Understanding of analysis tools and data interpretation. Excellent numerical skills Able to influence and persuade and to develop long term sustainable relationships. Strong communication skills. Excellent presentation development skills coupled with strong presentation delivery skills - Confident presenting skills to deliver insights, stories and actions in face to face or group presentations Displays maturity and creative problem solving skills in handling crises Able to operate in a multi-cultural environment and handle multiple stakeholders internally and externally Competent Negotiator with good influencing skills Relevant working experience. Experience in Market Research is an added advantage. Knowledge and exposure to more that one markets is an added advantage (worked preferably in the international arena/ client side/ agency side)
