A business Development Manager for logistics is a professional who is responsible for the growth of their department in the logistics and supply chain industry.

They work with their sales team to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Some of the main duties and responsibilities of a business development manager for logistics are:

- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the logistics market
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify customer needs and preferences
- Creating and presenting customized solutions that meet customer requirements and budget
- Negotiating contracts and service level agreements with customers and suppliers
- Coordinating with operations, finance, legal and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the sales team and providing feedback and coaching
- Reporting on sales activities, revenue, costs and customer satisfaction
- Participating in industry events, trade shows and networking activities
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the logistics and supply chain industry, trends, best practices and regulations
- Experience in sales, marketing, account management or business development in the logistics sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software and other relevant tools
- Arabic Knowledge is must
- Valid UAE driving license is must.

**Salary**: From AED12,000.00 per month
