No day will be the same and you will be completely immersed in the business management and personal life of this incredible Principle. You will need to be prepared for every eventuality, ranging from last minute changes in schedules to on-the-spot event glitches, to high-spec presentations within minutes, to problems with the private jets Above all, the role demands core business understanding as you will be involved with senior level meetings with various group CEO’s, across the broad spectrum of companies within the group investment and corporate banks, internal and external legal counsel, and government leaders. This role supports a Principle at the top of his career. He is a dedicated and highly energetic gentleman, whose life runs at 100 miles an hour, and as his assistant you need to be always one step ahead of him and have an awareness of international operations. As the gatekeeper to his office, you will interact closely with other team members and strategic partners on key CEO related tasks and projects. You will support him on the move, managing all travel arrangements, by working with commercial and private aircraft partners globally as well as managing the private fleet of aircraft and you will be required to travel internationally with him. You will attend meetings and events on his behalf and proactively manage his time using your expert judgement. There is a very strong administrative element to the role, including writing briefs and speeches, creating complex presentations, and managing internal and external communication, as well as tracking investments across the group. Additionally, research, analysis and project management play a large part in the role, as you will be required to participate in organization-wide projects that require additional support in collection and assimilation of data, feasibility analysis support and you will attend operational, project and program-related meetings, to capture information and provide accurate reports in your brief to the Principle.
Requirements
Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in performing critical support roles, across a wide scope. A strong commitment to delivering excellence, demonstrating good judgement, and understanding the importance of anticipating and proactively supporting needs is required. Our client is specifically seeking candidates who have had previous senior level exposure to an international business leader in a Chief of Staff role and who has managed various entities across an international remit. Candidates will possess English as a first language and a Bachelor’s degree is essential from a well-recognised University. A sense of humour and the willingness to do ‘whatever its takes’ is vital, plus candidates at this level will appreciate that this is a 24/7 role. However, this is a partnership and loyalty, and commitment are highly valued by our client and are rewarded as such.
