As an exciting new vertical within Careem (a startup within a startup) were in the early stages of building our product and have plenty of interesting and fundamental challenges to solve in order to achieve our ambitious growth goals in this burgeoning space.As a Data & Analytics Analyst youll be responsible for bringing data orientation into decisionmaking across functions and topics within Grocery. This is a unique role with the opportunity to create genuine impact for the lives of everyday people in our region.Were looking for someone with an amazing understanding of the online grocery market. Our ideal candidate is someone that excels at analyzing data makes datadriven recommendations and that relentlessly focuses on customers and desires to understand their current & future needs.What youll doAbility to build a solid understanding of our business and work crossfunctionally with internal stakeholders to create value with targeted analysesBe the custodian of the key business metrics and analyses that powers business decisionsAbility to work in fastpaced environments and adapt as necessaryStructure the analyses needed to answer key business questions work with analysts to perform analyses and derive insightsTranslate data into insights in clear concise and actionable presentations/reports to guide business decision and present to grocery leadership teamDrive business growth through actionable insightsOptimize & automate dashboards and reports to serve daytoday data and analytics requestsCreate new data platforms where needed to unlock new types of insightsWhat youll needSuccessful candidates will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people an insane focus on excellence and customer centricity and a strong alignment with our core values and purpose.An enthusiastic and driven professional who is excited about understanding the business context and nuances translating business asks to analytics requests lead the analysis and derive business insights.57 years of work experience in analytics roles in a highgrowth tech startup or similar dataheavy product environmentsProficient in SQL and Tableau or equivalent visualization tool (with 23 yr professional experience)Hands on experience with PythonStrong presentation skills and an ability to communicate complex findings to various audiences in a clear manner both written and verballyAn excellent communicator with any audience with stellar stakeholder management You can easily explain complex concepts to people of any levelGrittiness.
