We help enhance organisations project performance by identifying alternative project approaches consistently aligning projects with corporate strategy setting the tone and pace of projects from the outset responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations and extracting value from agile project delivery. As part of our team youll help our clients understand what makes business transformation projects successful from project delivery structures and business engagement models to key technical issues and ongoing learning and improvement. We share knowledge and experience to complement our clients existing capabilities which propels them to the next level of portfolio delivery.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highgrowth team where you will play a key role in developing and delivering strategybased projects to clients in the Government and Public Sector in the Middle East. You will be part of PwCs G&PS Project Management Office team interacting with industry professionals and experts who will help you build and deploy the strong project management skills required to be part of largescale nationwide transformation initiatives. You will be exposed to the PwC proprietary methodologies and tools built from experiences from numerous prior engagements and leading practices to enable you to efficiently and effectively deliver to our clients in a timely and reliable manner.Responsibilities:Manage and run a wide variety of projects for our clients in the Government and Public Sector in the Middle EastMaintain mechanisms to manage change control risks and issues within specific projectsIdentify project objectives policies procedures and performance standardsDocument any business requirements for specific initiatives/projectsOrganize the activities of specific project areasMonitor project budgets and prepare regular status reportsEvaluate project outcomes in terms of quality consistency accuracy overall value completion dates and provider performanceEnsure the recording and maintenance of a project database containing all related information (e.g. data documents reports etc.)Lead knowledge building and sharing using knowledge management methodologies techniques and processesCoordinate with others to utilise learning and development tools and techniques to analyse identify and communicate requirements for changeUnderstand the Voice of the Client and gain a deep understanding of the clients issues to facilitate the right connections with PwCs practice groupsCollaborate across the PwC global network to identify and drive sales opportunities build a strong pipeline with a One Firm approach and facilitate the closing of sales opportunitiesSupport on pursuits and proposals account management marketing and communications client feedback and operations.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:The ability to lead multiple projectsLeadership skills to engage with diverse stakeholders6 10 years of experience in a similar role out of which a minimum of 2 years of experience in a PMO preferably within the Government and Public SectorFamiliarity with best practices in PMO structures and operating modelsPassion about client service selfmotivated confident and strong work ethicSuccessful performance within team environments and enjoy being part of a teamExcellent organizational skills having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlinesExperience in overseeing and reporting progress of largescale projectsKnowledge/understanding of the Middle East Government and Public Sector including a deep understanding of global trends in the Government and Public SectorExperience of driving largescale changeSkills in planning and reporting tools including Microsoft Project Excel PowerPointExcellent communication skills in English and Arabic (verbal and written)Proficiency in Salesforce is an advantageProficiency in PowerBi and Alteryx is an advantageEducation (if blank degree and/or field of study not specified)Degrees/Field of Study required:Degrees/Field of Study preferred:Certifications (if blank certifications not specified)Required SkillsOptional SkillsDesired Languages (If blank desired languages not specified)Travel RequirementsAvailable for Work Visa SponsorshipGovernment Clearance RequiredJob Posting End Date This job has been sourced from an external job board.
