Job Description &Summary

The Tax Strategy &Transformation Team is a multidisciplinary regional team thatsupports both public and private sector clients helping them tonavigate the large tax and digital transformation that is takingplace in the Middle East. The team has a particular focus on taxtransformation projects that impact tax strategy processes policiesand technologies.

A career within the TaxStrategy & Transformation Team will provide you withthe opportunity to work at the heart of the large scale taxtransformation that the region is going through. You will haveexposure to a variety of different projects and clients. You willwork with a team of tax technology specialists that automate directtax operations and implement technology solutions(i.e.implementation of ERP consolidation tools tax reporting andprovisioning solutions).

We are lookingfor a Manager to join the team supporting our clients primarily inthe area of Direct Tax technology. Core responsibilities andrequirements for the job are:

  • Experience in tax provisiontechnology implementations (i.e. Oracle TRCS SAP PaPM
  • Longview ONESOURCE Thomson Reuters etc.).
  • Understand the requisite strengths weaknessesand nuances of each of the systems be able to articulate this toclients and internal stakeholders as part of exploratorydiscussions and be able to support the team with configuration.
  • Ability to discuss the different CT technologysolutions and how to use ancillary technology to automate /streamline the process.
  • Across all projectsaccountable for the successful endtoend implementation and GoLivefor clients.
  • Good understanding of taxaccounting (i.e. IFRS).
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills in English.
  • Youare a team player who loves collaborating with people from aroundthe world. Able to bridge the gap between IT and Taxprofessionals tackling complex issues in a simple andunderstandable way.

Preferred Expertise andBackground

  • Minimum of 8years experience in Tax Accounting / Corporate Direct Taxes frommultinational company or/and Big Four or/and software vendor.
  • Able to work under demanding deadlines andclient expectations.
  • Given the evolving natureof tax regulations and technology trends the candidate shoulddemonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to newtools / technologies.
