GREENIPATH also advises climate projects and handles the entire process regarding carbon offsets.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Carbon Solutions Project Development Consultant to lead and execute our organization’s initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carbon management, project management, and a passion for addressing climate change. This role will play a pivotal part in advancing our commitment to environmental sustainability.Project Development Consultant | GREENIPATH Dubai | Apply NowKEY REQUIREMENTS:– Proficiency in Carbon registries processes and methodologies, with the ability to develop Project Design Documents (PDD). – Experience collaborating with VVB (Validation and Verification Bodies) and registration administrators.also: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience in project management with a focus on carbon reduction and sustainability. Strong knowledge of carbon accounting, carbon offsetting, and emission reduction strategies. Familiarity with environmental regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol). Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to addressing climate change.Remote Work: Willingness and ability to work hybridly or remotely if not located in UAE. Will be many business trips. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial skills to initiate, manage, and grow successful business ventures. Commercial Acumen: Highly commercially oriented with sound business judgment. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, high-pressure team environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for carbon reduction initiatives, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution of carbon solutions projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Carbon Inventory and Assessment: Conduct carbon footprint assessments for our organization, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Identify areas for carbon reduction and develop strategies to achieve emissions reduction targets. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote carbon reduction efforts and gather support for sustainability initiatives. Maintain effective communication with project teams, partners, and relevant authorities. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with environmental regulations and compliance requirements related to carbon emissions and sustainability. Ensure that all projects and initiatives adhere to relevant laws and standards. Technology and Innovation: Research and recommend new technologies, practices, and solutions for carbon reduction and sustainability. Drive innovation in carbon management and sustainability efforts. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports on carbon reduction achievements and goals. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to optimize project outcomes. Identify and address resource gaps or constraints. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with carbon solutions projects and implement strategies to mitigate them.
