Establishandmaintain ahigh level of CustomerrelationshipManagementwhilstmeetingkey contract performance metrics.Support the development of commercial proposals, including Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, whilst ensuring that commercial including safety risks are mitigatedAct in the capacity of the commercial lead in multi-disciplinary bid teams to develop cogent and effective solutionsLead the development of commercial processes including bid management to help establish best practice processes across GANS ensuring appropriate rollout and buy-in from the wider businessSupport the development and implementation of the company business strategyProvide contract management support for contracts ensuring that GANS delivers all contractual obligations and key performance indicatorsImprove the general level of commercial understanding and competence within GANS by providing training and coaching as appropriateManage and oversee matrix and multi-disciplinary teams across GANS, whose duties span a variety of departments within the organisationEnsure that GANS meets its business development objectives and be flexible to support other functions to meet GANS business objectivesGuide the organisationon howtoexploit developments to maintain a competitive advantageby keep abreast of the innovative industry developmentsMaintain a robust network of industry contacts whilst keeping abreast of innovative technological advancements and providing guidance on how GANS can exploit advancement to maintain a competitive advantageSafety responsibilities and accountabilities of this position are detailed in the Safety Management Manual.
Educational Qualification
Bachelors in Engineering or Business ManagementMasters in Business Administration (preferred)
Professional Certifications:
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant softwareProject /Programme ManagementBusiness AdministrationFinance ManagementRiskand OpportunityManagement
Experience:
Minimum to 5 years commercial management experience (3 of which should have been in a similar role in the Aviation industry)5 – 10 years’ experience in private or international organization related to aviation or air navigation service industryExtensive sales, marketing and consultancy experience in the ANS or wider Aviation industry
Special Technical Skills:
Comprehensive contract management experience including commercial, strategic, legal and financial aspects of multi-disciplinary projectsExtensive international commercial and business experience with a track record of successfully managing the bidding processAdvanced written and oral communication skills with a demonstrable ability to persuade and influence key stakeholders (Arabic a distinct asset)A strong and flexible team player used to operate as a part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teamSelf-Starter with strong people management skillsCollaborative working style with a clear focus on delivering outcomesConsultancy expertise with an ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlinesSales and marketing expertise with extensive bid management skillsProject/Programme management expertise with excellent risk management and planning skillsFinance management expertise with analytical skillsExcellent negotiation skills to generate and close leads
