What we are looking forEssential
FA Level 2 minimumMember of a FA to maintain their Coach License or International equivalentEducation in sports coaching or teachingPost-holder must hold or obtain at the earliest opportunity the relevant safeguarding training (i.e. FA Safeguarding Children Workshop)Post-holder will be subject a DBS check at the appropriate level and cleared by the Manchester City Safeguarding OfficerTo have experience in a football environment both locally and internationallyTo have proven experience working with players from varying backgrounds and culturesTo have experience implementing and developing a football coaching syllabusDemonstrate experience and knowledge of planning, delivering and reviewing sessionsTo have knowledge and understanding of player development and the four-corner modelTo have experience working within a professional Football Club or sporting organisationTo have flexibility to travel when required to support projects both in the UK and InternationallyThe ability to create a positive working environment that represents Manchester City and the local partner in the marketplaceTo demonstrate how to coach and develop players of differing levels of abilityTo communicate to players on and off the field and in a variety of settings such as informal, formal, individual or groupsTo be organised in planning, preparation and execution within a projectTo self-review sessions with individual playersTo have the ability to evaluate and review programs on completion
