Ensures patient information is accurate and completeRequest for any missing patient informationConfirm patients benefits and insuranceTransfers insurance claims and billing data to billing softwareMaintains paper and electronic copies of documentationDevelops and maintain a tracking system of incoming and late paymentsInitiates late payment notices to relevant partiesRespond to questions and complaints from patients or insurance companiesMonitors and resolve financial discrepanciesMaintain organized documentation of the billing records
Requirements:
Maintains discount/credit notes/cancelled bills as per billing policyFollow up with the pending IP bills and collects sufficient advance from all InpatientsEnsures smooth billing process for patient satisfactionEnsures accurate and error free billingSupports the entire billing processes for the self-pay for IP and OPDaily collections to be handed over to the accounts department on daily basisBills (Accounts copies) to be handed over to accounts department on daily basisHandling all queries related to final bill
