Located just ashort distance from the outstanding Dubai Mall and theawe-inspiringBurj Khalifa, both hotelsstrive to provide the epitome of luxury and lifestyle filled with elegance and sophistication.With the combination of 456 meticulously designed rooms, each offering unparalleled comfort and style, guests will be immersed in a world of grandeur.If you’d like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we’d like to welcome you to join the pre-opening teamas Culinary Assistant- All Dining & IRDandlet us help you create a career journey like no other.As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:Execute basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.Perform cooking tasks such as grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve desired results.Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.Support different kitchen stations as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.Participate in quality checks to verify that dishes meet established standards.Adhere to hygiene and sanitation practices to ensure a safe and clean kitchen.Engage in continuous learning opportunities to improve culinary skills and techniques.Seek guidance from more experienced kitchen staff to enhance proficiency.Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth communication and coordination.Follow instructions and work cohesively within a team-oriented environment.Support in accommodating guest requests and preferences, maintaining a customer-centric approach.Contribute to creating a positive dining experience through quality food preparation.Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:Basic culinary training or relevant coursework is beneficial.Entry-level position with a passion for cooking and a desire to gain experience in a kitchen setting.Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.Basic understanding of kitchen procedures, food safety, and cooking techniques.Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.Ability to adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of kitchen operations.Openness to learning new tasks and taking on different responsibilities.Effective communication skills to work with team members and follow instructions.Adherence to hygiene and safety standards, including basic knowledge of food handling practices.Positive attitude and a collaborative mindset to work well within a team environment.Enthusiastic and passionate about cooking, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth.Attention to detail in executing cooking tasks, following recipes, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.Willingness to take initiative in learning and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen team.In return we'll give you a competitive financial and benefits package and the chance to work with a great team of people.
