PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced Assembly Technician troubleshoot and repair pigs, control panels, wiring, tools and machine components as required supporting test runs and other related activities.Key Responsibilities & AuthoritiesTo be able to read drawingsTo perform assembly of mechanical parts as per the drawings. To be able to disassemble and reassemble tools, machines and equipment to perform required inspections, maintenance, repairs, overhauls and other similar activitiesTo determine project plans at the beginning of jobsTo determine the best fabrication solutionsTo ensure that shift changes occur smoothly with no or minimal interruption to equipment uptimeTo communicate the safety program and instructions to the shop floorTo read and interpret machine operation and maintenance manualsTo troubleshoot and repair pigs, control panels, wiring, tools and machine components as required to support test runs and other related activitiesTo achieve monthly production goals while maintaining an acceptable attendance hour to production ratioTo be responsible for housekeeping of workspace and production and maintain clean and safe environment that minimizes risk to both employees and equipmentTo be responsible for activities of all shop employees, including vacation scheduling, shift scheduling and time and attendance reportingTo execute all other tasks as requested by Production Manager or by the immediate Supervisor within the assigned job roleTo provide training to new employees and continuous instruction for improvement and development to direct reportsSkills/Experience:High school diploma or a GEDMinimum 4-5 years’ experience in the same field preferably oil & gas industryBasic reading, listening, speaking and problem-solving skillsManual dexterity, physical strength and ability to perform repetitive tasksGood color discernment and color visionGood computer skills, as well as knowledge of manufacturing reporting softwareIndustry-related engine and compressor factory training and/or certification requiredGood social skills with the ability to communicate clearlyGood written and verbal communication skills (in English -desirable)Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Powered by JazzHRq7LZCf6rox
