Job PurposeAct as the expert withinthe Group ERM team for all aspects related to the management of Technology related risks, with an emphasis on Cyber & Information Security, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data Privacy and Governance, Cloud or other emerging technologies. Play a key role in defining appropriate risk frameworks, strategies, and mitigation policies base on learnings from best practice benchmarks.Key Responsibilities•Lead the efforts to develop and maintain risk appetite statements, metrics and tolerances as they relate to Technology related subject areas (including Cyber & Information Security, IT, AI, Data, Cloud, etc.), collaborating and guiding business as required.•Play a key role in defining the Technology policy and risk landscape (i.e., risk definitions, risk assessment and analysis, risk indicators, escalation process) by applying the existing Group Risk Management Framework and supporting standards and guides as well as functional policies and frameworks where in place.•Partner with key business stakeholders on a continuous manner to identify areas of Technology risks across the Group related to the advanced digital footprint, including cloud, AI/ML and other emerging technologies;Review and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the key IT controls and develop appropriate risk strategies.•Work closely with different stakeholders in the first line of defense to ensure that key IT controls are properly designed and operating effectively and support the review and enhancement of risk mitigation policies and processes .•Provide subject matter expertise to support the Business in establishing and maintaining an adequate cyber and information security policies and controls, coordinating with various stakeholders as needed including Cyber Security Risk Governance and Cyber Security Compliance teams.•Ensure that e&’s AI principles and the agreed AI risk assessment process is embedded by design and adequately followed throughout the product development lifecycle, working closely with the product owners/teams and other subject matter experts.•Provide specialist advisory for the business on queries / issues related to all types of Technology Risks and best risk management.•Provide governance and oversight of group-wide Technology risk and is responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the controls in place to identify, monitor, and manage the risk with the Group•Coordinate the necessary activities across stakeholders to support the periodic reporting of key technology risks and effectiveness of the control environment to relevant oversight bodies, as required.•Develop and enhance Technology risk capabilities by providing educational materials and facilitate training exercises to promote awareness and improve the overall risk management maturity in e&.•Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Technology and machine learning to understand new potential risks and challenges that might arise to e& as the technology evolves.•Thorough understanding of the different components of cybersecurity and applicable standards frameworks, including the UAE standard.•Sound understanding of existing AI risk frameworks and key implementation success factors (e.g. NIST AI Risk Management Framework)Clear communication and engagement skills and demonstrated ability to convey technical, complex matters to non-technical audiences and Senior stakeholdersExperience Required- Minimum 10 years overall experience in Technology in large Tech/Telco players. Minimum 4 years in Tech/IT Risk managementExperience Desired- Minimum 8 years in IT/Cyber/AI Risk; Experience in Tech/Telco companies. Experience in Consulting.
