Dentolo is one of the fastest-growing insurance start-ups in Europe and you will work together with us on providing the digital backbone of our insurance platform.Your work will range from customer-focused development to workflow automation and internal tools to help our team and customers have a seamless experienceYour primary tasks will be:Setting up and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS to host the set of applications that make up our platformDesigning and implementing automation processes for rapid and continuous deployment of new code and updatesMonitoring the performance of our applications and infrastructure, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing the environment to ensure maximum efficiency and reliabilityTroubleshooting issues that arise with our infrastructure or applications, identifying the root cause of problems, and implementing solutions to resolve themEnsuring that our infrastructure and applications meet the necessary security and compliance standards to protect user dataWhat you need to be successful:5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineerHands-on experience with the AWS platform (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS) and clear understanding of the use casesProficiency with the infrastructure as code tools. At least one year of experience with TerraformUnderstanding of networking concepts and the ability to design and implement scalable and secure network architectures.Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM, security groups, and encryptionAbility to use AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, and third-party tools such as Datadog to monitor the performance and availability of AWS resourcesBeing a team player and like helping people to tackle their problemsPaying attention to details, keeping your code clean and tidyContributing to a good and agile development environmentHaving great spoken and written EnglishTechnologies we use:Our services are hosted at AWS and HerokuWe use Codeship as CI/CD and are migrating to Github WorkflowsOn the Back-end we use ruby, Ruby on Rails, and many other open-source libraries.
