We are currently hiring a Finance Officer to work on exciting projects with our prestigious clients operating in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) or Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).Finance Officer | Praxis Dubai | Apply NowDo miss out on thisn’t m exciting opportunity – apply now at dubaiofferz.comKey ResponsibilitiesFund accounting and reportingOversee and manage accounting activities related to funds, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Ensure accurate and timely reporting to boards, investors, regulators, and internal stakeholders on a quarterly basis.Coordinate the preparation of management and statutory financial reports.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, promptly reporting any potential breaches to the Senior Executive Officer and the Compliance Officer.Financial Analysis and Decision SupportProvide financial insights and analysis to support investment decisions, risk assessment, and portfolio analysis.Ensure timely preparation of financial and statistical reports, business plans, financial position forecasts, and reports required by regulatory agencies.Contribute to the development of strategic direction, goals, and objectives for all reporting sections within the Finance department.Stakeholder Communication and CollaborationLiaise with fund and asset managers, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities regarding financial matters and reporting requirements.Effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders to support decision-making processes.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA) are preferred.Extensive experience in financial roles within the fund and asset management industry, with a solid understanding of fund accounting, valuation, and reporting.Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.) relevant to the financial industry.Thorough knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including ADGM and DIFC regulations, pertaining to investment funds.Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively.
