Business development executives are responsible for finding and retaining clients, encouraging extant clients to purchase added products or features, and remaining abreast of changes in consumption. You will also be required to build capacity in staff through regular training and mentorship.Responsibilities:
Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospective customers and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.Customer Relationship Management: To visit key existing Customers regularly and involving Superiors as part of CRM, to ensure their retention and to obtain more business from them.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.To ensure that Credit Policies are adhered and Debtors accounts are reviewed on a regular basis and debts are collected as per the agreed Credit Terms.
Requirements:
Preferably a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.Driving license is a must.Good communication skills.Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, traffic rules and laws, customs procedures at ports and borders relevant to road transportation.
