Leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for an Electrical Department Manager for their Detroit teamResponsibilities:Manage department/work with Project Managers on a variety of projects (Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects)Prepare discipline specific work plans/estimatesOversee production of work and ensure projects meet QA/QC standardsSupervise staff and ensure project meets performance metrics and department goalsClient communications to manage expectationsProvide technical supportMaintain backlogs/manpower forecasts to ensure proper staffing levels/department utilizationManage staff resources (annual reviews, timesheets, expense approvals, professional development)Assist with recruitment/trainingAssist with business development including participation in various trade organizationsManage multiple projects simultaneouslyRequirements:Bachelor
s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred8+ years of electrical design/project management consulting experiencePE License preferredExperience with electrical system studies (short circuit, over-current device coordination and Arc Flash Hazard analysis per NPFA 70E)Experience/knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), State Energy Code, NFPA guidelines, and FGI guidelinesPE License preferredWorking knowledge of design/analysis software (Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP and Easypower)Knowledge of standard construction practicesSuccessful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national Please contact Laura Harrison for further information#J-18808-Ljbffr
