you will grow our client base in the UAE supporting them to improve sustainability performance and fulfil their due diligence obligations. You will be part of the global Advisory team and you will report into Consulting Europe Senior Director, Advisory Business Unit as well as to local leadership in the Middle East. What you can expectBusiness Development: expanding ELEVATE's presence in the Middle East, developing the plan for accelerated growth and acquiring high-impact advisory projects by:
building and maintaining a professional network by connecting with all relevant stakeholders in the Middle East region, e.g. LRQA teams, local business partners, existing and potential clientsproviding market intelligence to inform LRQA’s business plan for the Middle East with a special focus on rapidly establishing and growing the Advisory service offeringsacquiring new mandates and expanding existing clients with a focus on the Middle Eastconnecting the full ecosystem of LRQA Advisory services (Consulting, Training & Improvement, Data & Analytics and Programs) to best support our clients
ESG Risk and Due Diligence management: lead consulting projects to support our clients in meeting their demanding ESG requirements landscape by:
developing and implementing ESG Due Diligence concepts that comply with current standards and frameworks (such as HREDD, CSDDD legislation, etc.)providing strategy and supply chain advisory support that align with current standards and frameworks (such as ESG Ratings, EU taxonomy, TCFD, SBTI, CDP, ISSB, SASB, CSRD etc.)conducting trainings and webinars on relevant ESG trends (e.g., HREDD, data-driven risk management, supply chain due diligence processes etc.)delivering
What you bring to the table
entrepreneurial Consultant with at least 10 years of proven experience in business development, consulting, responsible sourcing, sustainability or similarsignificant experience of the Middle East business environment and strong inter-cultural competenceexpertise in ratings, standards, and regulatory frameworks (such as HREDD legislation, ESG ratings, EU taxonomy, TCFD, SBTi, CDP, GRI, SASB, NFRD/CSRD, etc.) and proven ability to translate this expertise into needs-based solutions and resultsknowledge of the Financial Sector and the Asset Management, Private Equity and Energy community in particular is a plusefficient project and time managementexcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills and experience in leading effective workshopsability to work in a team and enthusiasm for mutual successquick perception and independent working styleenjoy virtual work - 1:1, in a team and across different time zones - with a strong ability to self-managevarious parallel projects spur you on: You keep the overview and use synergy effectsprofessional communication in English and ideally in another language
