Develop and manage customer accounts and travel within the assigned business mix area (predominantly event management companies, corporate and MICE travel agencies) to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.Create and manage hotel sales and marketing plans to ensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of the business and use these plans to focus the sales efforts for all market segmentsAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and draw up action plans to work towards the budgetConduct site inspections, webinars, presentations, hosted entertainment to clients.Attend Sales events and international sales missions, as requiredDevelop additional meeting room broker accounts and actively manage Key AccountsDrive business centre activity with the centre teams to deliver sales activity at a local levelDrive corporate and travel agency relations with ballroom users to maximize revenue potentialTarget, identify and manage new business initiatives/activities, fam trips, sales trips to maximize opportunities and meet meeting room Sales growth targetsWork with new and existing customer groups creating opportunities to offer added value and additional products in line with sales targets.Monitor competition to ensure competitive edgeRepresent and co-ordinate external events with the aim of maintaining and developing business contactsWork closely with Director of Sales to identify and drive focused activities on elements of the business that require additional support.Contribute to the development of company sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing and monitoring appropriate local activityPrepare and present, on a monthly basis, the contribution, focus and activity of the proactive sales team to the hotel owners and senior management teamCooperate with other departments in the hotel, particularly Reservations, M&E and the Banqueting Department, to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs Disclaimer: Drjobs.ae
