Dubai Future Foundation is introducing the Sandbox Dubai initiative, a Regulatory Sandbox that centres around four key themes: Artificial Intelligence, Health Tech, Green technology, and Real Estate technology. We aim to explore novel solutions, foster collaboration across sectors, and pave the way for transformative changes that benefit both consumers and industries of Dubai.The Director of the Sandbox Dubai is a pivotal role within the Dubai Future Foundation and will lead the strategic planning and execution of all Sandbox initiatives.Central to the Director’s responsibilities is the facilitation of collaboration with multiple regulatory bodies across Dubai along with industry leaders and private sector representatives. By building strong relationships and engaging in open dialogue with leadership, regulators, and industry leaders, the Director will shape the Sandbox’s frameworks conductive to innovation while safeguarding the interests of stakeholders and the public.In addition, the Director will play a key role in driving change at the city level. By partnering with Dubai government and regulatory authorities, the director seeks to implement progressive policy changes by supporting the testing and regulation of cutting-edge technologies/business models in AI, Health Tech, Green Technologies, and Real Estate. Director of the Sandbox Dubai As the Director of the Sandbox Dubai, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of all Sandbox initiatives, fostering stakeholder engagement, promoting innovation and meaningful adoption. Your Responsibilities • You will lead the strategic planning, implementation and execution of all Sandbox initiatives while ensuring consistent and accurate reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.• You will oversee day-to-day operations of the Sandbox and ensure complete regulatory compliance.• You will create and foster a collaborative environment between stakeholders and industry partners.• You will be responsible for effectively managing and tracking the budget and resources of the Sandbox.• You will successfully manager, train and coach all Sandbox team members, and ensure they have the tools and training that they need to effectively complete their responsibilities.• You will drive innovation and promote the Dubai as a hub for experimentation locally and internally.• You will represent the Sandbox in external engagements and regulatory forums.• You will carefully evaluate the outcomes of the different initiatives under the Sandbox and will recommend regulatory adjustments as needed.• You will role model and uphold the mission, vision and values of the Sandbox Dubai, while ensuring that the team is able to achieve its targets and outcomes.• You will develop the reporting mechanisms to keep the board members and key stakeholders updated on the progress and impact of the Sandbox initiatives, while also ensuring that you identify and resolve any potential roadblocks.
